Ceramic coatings have become the most widely used exhaust coatings in the automotive and racing industry today. Unlike header wraps which keep damaging heat and moisture against the metal header,  ceramic coatings protect the part by forming a protective barrier around the part . In exhaust applications ceramic coatings retain heat in the exhaust system increasing exhaust flow. By retaining the heat in the exhaust system under-hood temperatures will be reduced significantly. The coating has been tested at 1300°F base metal temp/1600°F exhaust gas temp. Ceramic coatings can be used for  many applications such as: other automotive parts (i.e. intake manifolds), small aircraft engines, motorcycles,  snowmobiles, ATV's, and much more. Ceramic coatings are available in a wide variety of colors such as black, white, blue, and many more. Contact us for more details on color selection.

Benefits of ceramic coatings:

  • The best corrosion protection of any exhaust system coatings

  • Reduces under hood and part temperatures

  • Polishes to a chrome-like finish

  • Can be maintained easily

  • Increases exhaust velocity

  • Reduces chemical damage

We believe part preparation is the key to proper coating adherence. All parts will be cleaned of all grease, oil, etc. then baked to insure all  contaminates have been removed. After the first baking, the part is media blasted to bare metal. The part is then washed in a solvent solution to insure it's readiness for coating. After these initial steps are taken to insure the best coating possible, the part is coated, baked and polished to a chrome like finish. To achieve the best results all exhaust systems are coated both inside and out.

Ceramic Lubricant Coating

Internal Engine Coating

The Ceramic lubricant, Cermalube™,  is used to protect internal engine parts like, pistons, and crank bearings from the harshness of engine frictions. It can maintain its effectiveness from pressures in excess of 350,000 PSI, and temperatures rising past 1600°F.  Cermalube™  creates a hard, semi rigid coating that can handle impacts as well as part expansion, making it one of the toughest lubricating coating on the market today. Whether used in light duty applications, or the toughest high load, high speed and temperature situations, we choose Cermalube™.  Coating cures to a glass like finish, with a thickness of  ".001" or less.  Give us a call for any other questions you might have, including pricing.

Benefits of Cermalube

  • Maintains coating effectiveness and part protection from base metal temperatures in excess of 1600° F
  • Thermal shock is no problem, handling the tough cycle of part heating and cooling with ease
  • The semi rigid ceramic finish can handle impacts as well as part expansion and contraction without separation
  • The load capability of the pigments are in excess of 350,000 PSI
  • Inhibits oxidation as well as resistance from chemicals and acids
